When someone dies by suicide, it can be really difficult to return to normal life. Research shows that people bereaved by suicide can have a particularly complex set of feelings and can experience additional struggles and dilemmas in trying to resolve their grief.

Below is a resource for people bereaved through suicide or other unexplained death, and for those helping them. It was developed in partnership by the Department for Health and Social Care (formally part of Public Health England) with the Support after Suicide Partnership and the National Suicide Prevention Alliance.
